What will my student get out of tutoring?
Individual attention, encouragement and feedback that results in improved academic performance. Your student will surpass his or her own preconceived limitations to the extent that they become a self-directed learner. Their grades will improve, they will feel more confident about school and more, your students will become proud of their accomplishments. Are you experienced working with learning disabilities?
Yes. Our tutors have had success working with students diagnosed with learning differences such as ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, auditory processing disorder, as well as many physical and cognitive learning disabilities. Our tutors work with teachers, parents, and therapists to integrate all aspects of the student's development into the learning process. Please contact us if you are interested in learning how to diagnose ADD or other learning differences.
How soon will I see results?
Your student's confidence will be greater in as soon as one hour session. If you or your student's expectations are not exceeded after one session or a month's block of sessions, you do not pay for those sessions. Just let us know what expectations were not met and we will refer you to other resources at no cost.
What subjects do you tutor?
We tutor most academic subjects offered in school, as well as standardized test preparation (SAT, ACT, GED, GRE, CBEST, etc). Some of these classes include various levels of math (elementary through calculus), physics, science, English, history, as well as most foreign languages including ESL.
What hours do you tutor?
Our tutors meet with most students on weekdays in the afternoon and evening, although some tutors are available on weekends. Our scheduling is flexible and in most cases, our tutors can accommodate your busy lifestyle.Please contact us via email or phone with any other questions
